How Comparator Works?

Redstone comparator is a device which can produce redstone energy by comparing the amount of resource of the input and will adjust how much energy will output give.



Redstone Comparator can power redstone up to 15 redstone wires.Redstone comparator may not be useful for newbie redstoner , but it will be useful to make item sorters and lottery. Redstone comparator can also measure the fullness of the chest.

The Shape of a redstone comparator is 3 redstone torches in a shape of triangle over a thin square plate. The double redstone torch position is the input and one single redstone torch is the output part of the comparator.

Containers that may activate comparator are chest , trapped chest , hopper , furnace , minecart with hopper, minecart with chest , cauldron , cake , a powered redstone wire , endstone , command block , block with activated redstone , ETC.
